Pretty much one thing, really.
Our giant, in-depth, definitive Starcraft II review is coming this weekend in two parts – one for the single-player campaign, and one for the multi-player. The game is so massive both in content and in mindshare that we decided it best to split up the SP and MP reviews.
You can expect both reviews to land sometime Sunday evening, if we’re still awake from our weekend-long marathon.
See you out there.
Update: Looks like we need a little extra time to let things sink in — you can expect the review to hit Wednesday at the latest. Sorry for the delay!
Re-spawning in real life ain’t easy, folks.
If you could go back and relive your favorite, most rewarding gaming experience, what would it be?
We’re having a conversation on Reddit about that topic, and we’d love to hear from you. Why not hop on over and tell us about your best gaming moment? Here’s what our staff had to say on the subject:
I’d go back to high-school, just so I can relive all of the bayonet contests I had with my friend in Day of Defeat b1.3 on dod_zafod. Those were the days… when the Kar98 was actually a worthwhile weapon!
I’d go back to EverQuest about mid-way through the Kunark expansion. That was the most epic and rewarding time in my life for multiplayer gaming. The community was so incredible. I probably hung out more in the East Commonlands tunnel than in actual physical places at that time. Oh, and…. TRAIN!!!
I’d for sure go way back, to when my friends and I first experienced Nintendo 64. Goldeneye was one of our first titles. The amazement and cool factor when we fired that thing up hasn’t been topped to this day. I think it was the point when we all discovered true gaming. Also, it took us an hour to figure out how to open the gate in the first level.
What are you waiting for? Chime in!
It’s been a long time coming, and we’ve officially arrived! We have given ourselves a makeover so epic that the Bravo network is shaking in their boots. And never fear, fellow citizens — our upgrade is not just skin deep! In fact, we’ve engineered a pretty sweet social backbone where you can create a unique profile, check out site-wide activity from our members, jump into our forums, create and join community groups, or check out some updated info about who we are and what we do.
There’s a lot of new stuff here, so we’ve compiled the major changes into a handy guide which you can check out by clicking the “read more” link at the end of this post. So go ahead. Click it.
